Prosperity burger is back!! 

I know CNY is on 23rd January. But hey! It's never too early to be prosperous! ^^

I'll eat prosperity burger at least twice every year! because you can get to eat it for 1 or 2 months before CNY only! I love the black pepper sauce so much to the extend that i'll lick the wrapper after i finish the burger. Sluurrrp~

When should i eat it again?? Tomorrow maybe. v(^_^)V

Christmas tree

First time seeing a real Xmas tree! Everybody's pinching smelling and touching the real tree as if the notice doesn't exist. haha..


Honestly, I did not pinch nor touch it. The reason is simple, because it's damn expensive!!! A xmas tree which is about the same height as me is selling at RM299. The price ranging from RM 199 to RM499, depending on the height of the tree. 


Who would buy a real tree to put at home? It has some kind of sourly, mild pungent smell. >_< and it won't last till next year. After the xmas is over, what to do with this real tree? how to discard this tree? burn it? Open burning is prohibited in Malaysia.

Anyway, real xmas tree is more beautiful than the artificial one.

How to make colourful tang yuan 汤圆 - healthier version!

Winter solstice is tomorrow!! Just finished helping my mum to make tang yuan. ^^

It brings back all the childhood memory in my grandma's house whenever i see tang yuan. My siblings, cousins and i used to mixed up all the colour and roll it into a huge ball. We loved to compete for "most creative tang yuan" or "biggest tang yuan". Every time it also ended with scolding and shooing off the kitchen by our aunt or grandma. Hahha.. 

I think most people add food colouring to make red and yellow tang yuan. You might not aware of the dangers of food colouring. .Just click the link to read more bout it. So, instead of adding chemicals into tang yuan, why don't add some natural colouring? 

Here's the secret of my mum's healthy tang yuan. :)

If you wish to have red colour, add in watermelon juice. Dragon fruit's colour is more to purple.

Pandan leaf

Orange

Oranges do not give rise to orange colour, so if you want orange colour tang yuan, please use carrot or papaya.

By adding fruit juice into the glutinous rice flour, it will give some colour to your tang yuan and fruity flavour to it too!

I know this part of the song by heart because i've been watching doraemon since i was in kindergarden. There were a lot of homeworks during primary school, usually i would finish half at night and half in the next morning. Before i went to bed, i'ld wish to have doraemon. And he did come to rescue me once by helping me finished up all my maths exercises!! but when i woke up, my exercise book was still blank, it was only just a dream. ~_~ I had these kind of dreams very frequent, to the extend that i really believed doraemon really do exist. hahah

During exam, i wished for 'memory bread', so i didn't have to study so hard. How silly i was back then.. :) Doraemon is my childhood 'friend' till now. I LOVEeeee doraemon!! and doralin too of course.

Malaysia is a damn hot country! We're literally sweating 24-hr a day! unless you hide yourself in a air-conditioned room with temperature of 16 degree Celsius, which is a very stupid idea. Your life will just be YORK cooling king and you, or LG and you. Luckily i'm better than these Hollywood celebrities..(scroll below) No matter how good looking you are or how expensive your dresses are, you'll still look unattractive with sweat stains. It's very embarrassing to show sweat stains. The solution is just keep your arms close to your body unless you want to show how 'hot' you really are to the world. hahah

Here's my solution --> use antiperspirant/ deodorant! Apply it when you know you're going to get sweaty due to workloads or weather. Unless you're the type of person that sweat profusely then use it everyday. There were many types of antiperspirant/ deo i tried before: roll-on, stick type and spray. The latter is my favourite. But recently i fell in love with stick type too even though i had bad experience with this type. Read more to find out~ hehe

Among Rexone women naturals bioprotection and Resoxa women skin light antiperspirant deo, i like naturals bioprotection more. It smells fresher and lighter if compared to skin light. However, the smells is very pungent if you apply it in the bathroom. I literally can't breath and have to hold my breath until i got out from the bathroom. There was one time, i came out from bath room after spraying the rexona, then my mum asked " what perfume are you wearing!!?? The smell is so strong! " hahah.. and the other issue that bothered me was you'll feel sticky if you sweat a lot.

I do not like roll-on deo at all. See picture below for yourself....

It will stay like this for quite long before it gets dry. So you have to put up your arms like chimpanzee before you put on your clothes. Yucks!

Angry birds storm the campus!

Last Wednesday i went to my seniors' convocation. I was expecting to see many teddy bears/ soft toys with the square graduation cap and flowers.

 ANGRY BIRDS!!!

 They were everywhere and anywhere in the campus! :D

Red angry bird seemed to be the favourite of all.

I was literally laugh out loud when i saw this blue angry bird with the square academic cap. So cute~~~~~ I can't resist my hand not to touch it.hahha

The last bouquet was the prettiest among all, but i wouldn't want to hold this during my convocation. It's crazy if they are in every single graduation photo of mine. I still like the angry bird plush toys and games more for cuddling and time killing.

I have had enough of angry birds, so i headed to the food section, it was way more jam packed than the gifts booths. While paying money for my favourite keropok lekor, I felt something kept nodding on my head and shoulder. Hmm..i thought it was baby's hand 'hitting' me, so i didn't bother it until i noticed red shadow on my shoulder. OMG! It was red angry bird! 

Phew~~ Luckily i'm not the green pig!

and countless of flasks and culture bottles waiting for me to wash them!

I want to graduate!!!  

Time to sleep, more cultures have to be done tomorrow.
